The crew and I took a detour to Ludington to fish the annual Ludington Offshore Classic. The
weather and the fishing did not disappoint. We started the week with some great charters and some big kings. We then moved into the Big Boy Tournament and the big catches continued. The crew and I were able to secure a 1st place prize in big fish with almost twin fish weighing in at 25 pounds. We continued to find good fish and had a great tournament. A big thanks to Ludington for hosting one of our favorite events and a thanks to our great charter groups that we had this week. Fish came deep on meat and flasher flies. Overall, the bite was steady with big kings. Looking forward to what August has in store for us as the fish only continue to get bigger.
